    I hope to learn more about how I can incorporate technology into a child therapy practice. I want to be a child therapist when I graduate and I know technology is a really amazing tool I can use. This class will hopefully help me better understand how teachers are using it in their classrooms. Knowing what kids are already using can be helpful so I know how the technology works and how the kids adjust to learning about it. 

    The first experience I remember using technology in my classroom was when I went to 3rd grade. I went to a brand new school that decided to incorporate iPads into our curriculum. I remember being excited that we could use iPads in the classroom. We mostly used them for homework outside of class and reading textbooks or assignments in class. My classmates and I loved it.

    I like learning about children: how they develop and why they behave the ways they do. I regularly use technology to learn about these things. I use Canvas in my classes to access readings and powerpoints from lectures. I also use technology when I participate in the research credits I sign up for. Some of my classes offer extra credit for research participation. A lot of the credits you can earn from sitting in your home working on a laptop!

    Hey! I agree with wanting to learn more about children and, how they develop and why they do what they do in general. I think technology can be a really helpful factor in learning this, especially in a teaching environment where a teacher can use technology to track their students.

Blog Post 4

Blogging, in my case, was more of a required assignment than a personal passion, but it still offered some valuable insights into the writing process.
